Uzbekistan, November 2025 – Building on the strong momentum from discussions held during Raw Materials Week, the Critical Raw Materials Facility (CRM-F) will be organizing, in close collaboration with TMK and the EU Delegation to Uzbekistan a 3 day field visit to Uzbekistan to deepen cooperation between TMK and European industry partners.

This unique event will lead participants to Tashkent and the region of Samarkand, and will focus on projects related to tungsten, molybdenum, copper, and other critical raw materials, bringing together European and Uzbek stakeholders to discuss investment opportunities and technology collaboration. Sites visited will include the Chirchik metallurgy plant and research facility, the Ingichka tungsten tailings operation, the Buchara graphite project, and exploration areas in Sarkul (tungsten) and Miskon (copper polymetallic).

These activities reinforce the CRM-Facility’s commitment to forging stronger industrial and investment links between Europe and Uzbekistan, and to identifying concrete opportunities that contribute to the development of sustainable, diversified CRM value chains across Central Asia.
